Starting counselling can feel like an important step, and it helps to understand the costs involved before beginning. At Jamie Clarke Counselling, fees are kept clear and transparent so you can make an informed decision about starting therapy.
Counselling sessions are available in person near Ipswich or online across the UK. Sessions typically last 60 minutes unless otherwise stated.

Low-Cost Counselling
A limited number of reduced-fee sessions (£40) are available with a counselling student who is completing professional training.
These sessions are:

• A more affordable option for ongoing support
Availability for these sessions is limited.
How Often Are Sessions?
Most clients attend counselling weekly or fortnightly, especially at the beginning of therapy. The frequency can be discussed together depending on your needs, goals, and availability.
Some clients also choose to book multiple sessions in advance to ensure regular support.
Payment Information
Payments can be made using:
• Online payment portal
• Bank transfer (BACS)
Payment is usually required before the session takes place.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed sessions, are charged at the full session fee.

You may choose to book:
• A single session
• Two or three sessions in advance
• Ongoing weekly appointments
