Initial Consultations

Initial consultations are charged at the same rate as normal sessions.

Please note - if you do not attend your appointment for any reason, cancel or reschedule your appointment on the same day of the appointment, you will still be charged the full amount.

Payments

All payments must be made prior to your appointment.  Payments are made via our online payment portal, which can be viewed here, however alternative payment details can be provided separately.

How We Determine Our Prices

Our pricing is positioned around the average cost of counselling sessions for adult individuals and couples in Ipswich.  We're committed to being competitively priced to make private counselling services accessible to more people.

Please note: from 1st April 2026, Jamie's prices will increase to £60 for adult individuals and £90 for couples.

Prices

All counselling session prices apply to In Person Counselling & Online Counselling.  All prices currently exclude VAT.

 

Adult individual counselling with a counselling student £40 per 60min session
Adult individual counselling £50 per 60min session
Teenager individual counselling £50 per 60min session
Marriage, Couples and Relationship counselling

£75 per 60min session (£90 from 1st April 2026)
Outside organisations/EAP providers/Insurance work

Available upon request
Counsellor Supervision

I charge £90 per 90min session for both Qualified & Student Counsellors.

You'll need to receive 1.5 hours of supervision per month as required by BACP, while other organisations may have varying needs.
